Manufacturer looking to employ more to meet demand for new generation bakkie.
PRETORIA – Ford Motor Company South Africa (FMCSA) is considering boosting its production of the locally produced Ford Ranger bakkie due to the strong demand internationally and locally for the product.

According to Jeff Nemeth, president and CEO of FMCSA, the company produces about 1 500 Rangers for local sales monthly, with an equal amount and even more produced for export markets.

FMCSA had a bumpy start with the production of the Ranger due to disruptions in Thailand where the Ranger is also produced, but things were normalising and according to Nemeth it is close to its production target for the last two-and-a-half to three weeks.  CLICK HERE to read more ....

LONDON, England - Britain's Top Gear magazine has named the new Range Rover Evoque its 2011 Car of the Year and also named it Jeremy Clarkson's favourite new car.
The Evoque beat stiff competition from the BMW 1 Series M, McLaren MP4 12c, Ferrari FF, and other well known brands to earn the title.
